October 15, 2024 - Innovatek S.r.l., a company controlled by Carlo Fulchir - www.innovatek-srl.it, announces today that it has signed a binding agreement to acquire a 55% majority stake in Molex Zetronic S.r.l. (“Molex Zetronic” or “Target”), a company based in Padua and part of the American multinational group Molex Inc., which specializes in producing specific and customized products for automotive companies and groups.

Supporting the local community through entrepreneurship

Most of the staff at our eyewear factory are women and come from the local area. This has fostered strong support from local institutions, which have believed in us since the project began. The visit by the Mayor of Martignacco, Gianluca Casali, and parish priest Don Luca Calligaro gave us an opportunity to review iVision Eyewear’s development: where we started, how far we have come and our goals for the future. The warmth shown to Carlo Fulchir, his children Stefano, Eva and Federico, and the entire management team was both genuine and moving.

In 2017, the Magneti Marelli Group generated revenue of €8.2 billion and employed around 43,000 people. It remained under the control of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles until 2018, when it was sold for €6.2 billion to Japan-based CK Holdings, controlled by US investment fund KKR. See the link. I am particularly pleased that its Wikipedia page mentions me as one of the key figures in this remarkable chapter of Italian industrial history.

Roberto Crea returns to Italy

After 40 years in California, the Calabria-born scientist known as the father of biotechnology returns. Brain drain can be reversed: Professor Roberto Crea, an internationally renowned scientist, biotechnology pioneer, Calabria native and California resident for 40 years, is in Italy for the Renato Dulbecco Institute, which he will begin leading in Lamezia Terme in a few months. Together with Professor Giuseppe Nisticò, commissioner of the institute, acting Regional President Nino Spirlì and Agriculture Councillor Giancarlo Gallo, he will visit the Fondazione Terina facilities and review progress on the executive project for GMP- and GLP-compliant laboratories at the new institute. It will be an internationally oriented centre of scientific excellence dedicated to studying and producing nanoantibodies, known as pronectins, with the potential to combat COVID-19 and its variants as well as forms of cancer resistant to current therapies. An important and exciting day at the Dulbecco Foundation, created by the internationally renowned Pharmacologist, general director of the "Rita Montalcini Institute" and former President of the Calabria Region, GIUSEPPE NISTICÓ and the biotechnologist scientist ROBERTO CREA The Dulbecco Foundation was born with the aim of producing cell molecules in the laboratory, for the treatment of serious diseases and pandemics, such as those caused by COVID-19 and we as an iVision group are honored to be able to provide our technological and personal contribution.

www.veneto.eu: iVision’s portal wins a MediaKEY award

The new www.veneto.eu portal, officially unveiled at BIT in Milan last February, has won the special BEST PORTAL PROJECT INTERACTIVE KEY AWARD at the 20th Interactive Key Awards (www.mediakey.tv), one of Italy’s most prestigious awards for communications, marketing and digital projects involving leading Italian and international companies. It will be presented on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:30 p.m. during the awards gala at the new IULM 6 Auditorium, Via Carlo Bo 7, Milan (MM2 Romolo). The project was created by the Trentino–Friuli company iVision Group. Working with Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A. and Feratel Media Technologies S.r.l., it designed and developed this tourism portal to provide a modern, user-friendly platform for promoting the region. The carefully planned project began in March 2017 and was brought to life using the latest technologies and a mobile-first interface. It included functional and graphic design, development, and a strategic promotion plan for all Veneto platforms. Veneto is Italy’s leading tourist region, with more than 19 million arrivals and over 69 million overnight stays—official 2018 figures. These figures show how tourism is, and can increasingly become, a primary industry for the whole of Italy. Thanks to ongoing cooperation between the technical team and the portal’s editorial staff, with support from the regional ICT department, www.veneto.eu is already synchronized with the regional DMS (Destination Management System) and receives updates on events, accommodation and travel packages. Its innovative features include a graphic interactive menu that lets users explore regional areas and destinations by theme and dedicated offers. Governor Luca Zaia was personally involved in the project, demonstrating Veneto’s strong commitment to tourism and particularly to digital infrastructure for promotion and access. As iVision Group, an Italian leader in digital tourism with many years of experience and a decade of work with destinations such as Val di Fassa, Lake Garda, San Martino di Castrozza, Val di Sole, Porto Rotondo and many others, we are proud to be part of this project team and to add another prestigious award to our collection—one that further strengthens our bond with the Veneto Region.

2017 Colosseo d’Oro Award

During an extraordinary evening in Rome, in the company of distinguished guests, I received the 2017 Colosseo d’Oro Award. This important recognition is presented by F.E.A.L.P. (European Autonomous Federation of Labour and Professions) to people who have distinguished themselves professionally and socially, benefiting their communities and contributing to human development, in memory of the Honourable President Giulio Andreotti. I sincerely thank organizer Franco Moschetti and Lino Mungari for the initiative and for presenting me with an award that means a great deal to me. My children Stefano and Eva were also recognized, representing Masè and iVision Group, for the projects they are pursuing.

Pieces of History

I am here attending the Nobile Accademia Gentium Pro Pace ceremony in Rome, where Professor Lino Mungari awarded me the Honorem Academic Degree and the Honoris Causa Degree in Economics Political Sciences. There were present for the award of the prestigious awards, Cardinal Zenon Grogoleschi, Professor Michele Del Re and General Tricarico, Advisor to the Foreign Ministry for Defense and Security Services. Indelible memories that will always remain in my heart.

2017 Padel Grand Prix Awards

A wonderful evening at the gala for the 2017 Pan-African Padel International Grand Prix, the largest award celebrating men and women who contribute to the development of the African continent. In addition to receiving the diploma and medal as Best Manager in Côte d’Ivoire, I was named Leader of the 20 award recipients. An unexpected surprise and a recognition I also owe to everyone who believes in me and works alongside me every day. Thank you for these truly unique emotions!

2017 Pan-African Padel International Grand Prix

I am delighted to share this wonderful news: I have been recognized as one of Africa’s leading entrepreneurs for the 5th Pan-African Padel International Grand Prix, the largest award celebrating men and women who contribute to the development of the African continent, to be held in Côte d’Ivoire on Friday, April 7. Another ceremony will follow in Casablanca, Morocco, on November 11, where I will again be honoured as Best International Entrepreneur. On November 3, 2016, the 12th charity evening of the Fondation Servir was held at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire. The foundation is chaired by Mme Henriette Konan Bédié, wife of the former President of Côte d’Ivoire. Evaluator of graduate projects at Global MBA

Carlo Fulchir was named as an evaluator of innovative projects developed by graduates of the Global MBA in Entrepreneurship Impact of the Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University, whose activities in the African continent have the aim of training new entrepreneurs, by adopting formulas developed ad hoc , increasing the skills of teachers and academic staff in African universities, support small and medium Italian enterprises in the development in Africa and create around each MBA an ecosystem of companies, foundations, social venture funds, banks and institutions.

The opening of the envelopes containing the bids for the acquisition of Domino is set for 10/06. Domino: Carlo Fulchir has formalized an offer to acquire the company. The entrepreneur has passed from words to deeds by submitting his proposal, now under review of failure organs. Fulchir, who last year took over the Salumi Masè of Trieste, together with two other local entrepreneurs, stated that "the interest in Domino is motivated by great attention to this area, where I can count on strong expertise and relationships at international level. Past at the head of a large industrial group as Finmek and the experience in the electronics industry are aspects that can be put at the service of a project to revitalize this historic company, with the aim to preserve it and make it grow for the benefit of the regional economy and employment".
